Sgt. Jesse A Blamires laid to rest 6-9-2007
Sgt. Jesse A. Blamires - When it comes to something like this, it doesn't matter if you're in favor of the war or not. When a soldier dies, people respect and honor his life. Saturday June 9th 2007, a lot of people did that for Sergeant Jesse A. Blamires.
I and about 90 other PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) had the privilage and honor to have been able to stand the flag line and escort Sgt. Blamires. It was an emotional day for all. More info by KSL www.ksl.com I have a couple of photo's from after the service that are here in the photo gallery under Motorcycle/PGR.

It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us; that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to the cause for which they here gave the last full measure of devotion; that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; that the nation, under God, have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
