USA President coming to Utah Today

1 Attachment(s)
The President of the United States comes to Utah today.

A lot of people are seizing the opportunity to share the spotlight. The streets and squares of Salt Lake City are already crowded with political rallies Pro and Against, and the president isn't even supposed to arrive for another eight hours. (9pm approximately is when Air Force One is supposed to arrive at the Air National Guard base in SLC which is near the SLC International Airport)

The President will stay in Salt Lake City tonight and speak to the American Legion National Convention tomorrow morning, most likely pushing a "stay the course" message regarding the Iraq War.
If you want to welcome the President at the Air National Guard Base, and you don't already have a ticket, your out of luck. Tickets for the event are no longer available.
In anticipation of President Bush's arrival, some restrictions are now in place. Air space over the Salt Lake Valley is on hold so Air Force One can fly in. The temporary flight restrictions will limit the use of private aircraft. Private planes can't fly anywhere from Heber to Tooele, and from Ogden to Provo. Only commercial and military aircraft will be allowed to fly over the Salt Lake Valley during the President's visit.
